Valentus Slimroast Coffee Review

Image
Make your coffee a habit, and do it the "valentus slimroast coffee" way. I'm a mom-of-three, got an 8 to 5 hour job and a runner who needs to train for an upcoming marathon - in short a busy bee. Doing all those stuff is a struggle. At the end of the day, I'm literally exhausted, in all aspect. I needed an extra power to last the day energized. A friend of mine offerred me to try this coffee - the latest craze among individuals who wanted to lose weight with no strict diet and exercise and still feels vitalized the whole day. After runnig in the morning, I'll take one scoop of VALENTUS SLIMROAST for my coffee ritual before I take my breakfast and I'm good for the day. (By the way, one tub lasts for a month) Before I knew it, I was emptying my first tub and was ordering my second tub. This is not your ordinary coffee. It is an effective appetite suppressant! I used to have a huge craving but when I started this coffee,  I still eat my fave foo

Fun Facts about All Women Ultra Marathon (AWUM) of Cebu City

Photocredit - AWUM Page All Women Ultra Marathon in Cebu City otherwise known as AWUM  is gaining its popularity among Juana ultra runners all over the archipelago. It became a "must-attend-to" event each year and every one is buzzing about it. I joined the AWUM 5th edition  last March 12-13, 2016. My first and definitely won't be my last - the experience was all worth it. I have participated other marathons but this is unrivaled. Why? There's so much pampering and attention, I know, every Juana will love it! My reasons for making AWUM on top of all the marathon list: All Girls Event   Unlike other ultra event, AWUM is designed strictly for FEMALE RUNNERS ONLY. A 50km long distance run for the "Juana-run-addicts", which gunstarts at 10:00 o'clock in the evening with a cut off time at 10:00 o'clock the following morning. Organizers, in cooperation with LGU of Cebu City, made a mark on this concept. Since the 1st AWUM edition, yearl

Be at peace to yourself amidst hitch!

No matter how you want your life to flow calmly and smoothly, there will come a time that trials or problems will be knocking at your doorstep - a visitor you could not say no. It comes in unexpectedly - for certain reasons that you could not fathom. Like cars or almost "anything" discovered or invented  - it has to be road tested to make sure it is efficient and strong, and to correct flaws that will make it more servicable.  Life is not an exception - you will sometime encounter tribulations that will shake your core -  from values, beliefs and even norms - either it makes you a better person or turn you into someone full of negativity and questions. While you are in zenith of everything, you rejoice and boasts your confidence and how good you are. That is why when an unexpected knock of setback comes accross you tend to ask why it has to be you. You have prepared all your life to suceed but not on problems that may pave your way. No one is exemp from being rocked u

Benefits of Group Run!

I used to set my alarm clock at 4:30 in the morning for my daily run. Sometimes when that laziness kicks in - alarm rings,  I snoozed it and  straight back to bed. It is quite frustrating,  hours before that I've been promising myself to do a 10km run in the morning, but there I was snoring. Reality wise, sometimes the urge to snuggle in bed than run wins. This is the point where I truly missed "group run" - our running club used to run in group If we need to train for an upcoming marathon. I find it a helpful tool to push yourself to train with ease and fun - lesser feel of struggle. What happens when you run with a group? YOU COMMIT - when you run with a group, you develop that sense of commitmment, discipline and respect of other's time. When you agreed to assemble at 3:30 in the morning and gunstarts at 4:00 that means that you have to be there before gunstart. It doesn't matter if it is bedweather, you will be forced to get up because texts and calls

Firsy day mark of my training for AWUM (All women Ultra Marathon 50 Km Run in Cebu) and my weightloss journey. All my life i've been weighing over the weight indexed for my age.  I've had several attempts to trim down, however, I failed. Just in time,  AWUM registration flooded the feed of every female ultra runners (if you successfully register - which I did, then prepare for the big event on 9 March 2019) so it came to me, I'll train and hopefully get that ageless bod as well. Easy to sound but it will be a hell of work, real hard run and sweat-like popcorn. Today was a "rain-sun-rain" kind of day. I have to dance with the weather tempo and find the right timing to be able to run. Luckily, around 5:00 o'clock in the afternoon, the rain stopped - time to put the kicks on. "Don't let the rain stops you from doing what your heart desires to achieve - do not make it an excuse to cheat on your goal, instead learn how to improvise - play along!&

Thank You 2018!

"I have lived my life like holding a beautiful red rose - clinging with awe and admiration to life's promise but bleeding enduringly in silence afraid to let it go..." Year 2018 is concluding soon - I won't let it go without hearing my utterance of gratitude for having a fruitful 365 days. Thank you for all the realizations I've reached anent to forgiveness or relationship issues. The past years before you were a twister - messed up actually. But I outlived those years and 2018, you're way better. You are my coping and healing year - the space needed to reflect and assess the situations I have been, what went wrong or how did it all happened. You helped me push that reset button and everything in my life starts anew. Thank you for putting me back on track. I was lost - journeying through a pitch dark tunnel without a glimpse of even a tiniest spark of light. The query as to where am I really heading? Am I on the path destined for me or am I just walking i

"It's okay to Fail!"

Streets are on a busy mood. People hustle here and there - preparing for the zenith of christmas celebration - eight (8) days from now. Also, traditional christmas parties are everywhere - and that means booze and food until early morning! This is the time of the year where people loosen up, shake their booty to the tune of frolicking and spirit of fun. Admittedly, I forgot I have a timeline to keep and a goal to achieve - been dancing with the season. I felt so bad - just started my challenge days ago and here I am savoring that guilty indulgence. Don't get me wrong, I may be faulty yet I'm not giving up. This day may be a downside still, I'm hopeful that tomorrow is a better one. The same note goes to you, don't be so hard on yourself GIVE IN, INDULGE And do not fear failure. "Life is naturally designed to be flawed. Nobody lives the grandeur of ease without the roller  coaster ride. Failure is inevitable - it exists for a good reason. Embrace it and learn we
