It's Okay

IT'S OKAY

You chuckled and laughed hard - on top of your lungs. Others laughed with you - genuinely, they find you "loco-but-wacky". Some smiled - they're just being civil. A few smirked - vivid enough to tell you they don't like you laughing that loud.

Should you care? Yes, because norms of society says so, you have to conform. No, because that is your life and that's how you feel. Distinct voices wanted to be heard, which of it will you heed. These are the things you consider, even in the smallest act that you do. Society dictates. There's always that line, to do this and do that, that's allowed and that's not.

But hey, at times...

It's okay to bend some rules, do a slight deviancy - break the pattern.

It's okay to snuggle in bed even if it's not sleeping time - lie when you want not because you need to.

It's okay to cry like a howling wolf when you can't pull yourself together. When you've got no one to turn to except your shadow - at least you are not thinking of ending your life. Do cry on.

It's okay to be a 'potato couch' - relax, that doesn't mean you are lazy. You needed time to stretch and lay low.

It's okay to mess  up - you pick bad choices sometimes. You are not perfect, you are but someone trying hard to do what's best and righteous.

It's okay to get soaked and play in the rain - never a sin to let that kid like side of yours out, no matter how aged you are. Have some fun while you can.

It's okay to stir the seas and make waves - do not be too comfy on the placid waters. Be bold and loud. See to it that you are seen and heard.

It's okay to be different - true beauty comes from contrast, out of the web and chaos. You are your own version. You don't have to conform with the frames of the social media. Create and re-create grounded on your metrics not of anybody else.

It's okay to be left for someone else - to be able to feel the pain of betrayal and lies. You will learn the morals of love and relationships. You will grow and move on eventually, take your time and look at the bright side.

It's okay to shout, growl and say mean words at times - you are not a saint, at least you are expressing yourself. It will help you calm down - it is part of being a human, you fume up sometimes.

Everything in our existence plays along with balance. You strive to be a whole person, imbibe with values and morals you believed in. But there's that time when you snap, let loose and become unruly.  That's the irony of life. No matter how hard you try to be the best version of yourself - the fall will always be there - IT'S OKAY.
